Barletta Engineering, headquartered in Canton, Massachusetts, has offered its clients various construction solutions for over a century. Barletta Engineering serves a diverse client base that includes private and public entities, such as the Boston Water and Sewer Commission (BWSC), Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT), and Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA).
The company has two entities. The first, Barletta Engineering Corporation, specializes in industrial projects, such as energy power plants, water and sewage treatment facilities, and green roofs and spaces construction. The company has also completed projects, including the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority's Chelsea Creek, Wachusett Aqueduct, Alewife Pump Stations, Walnut Hills Water Treatment Plant, and the Cambridge Huron Ave Sewer. For green spaces, it has completed the Massdot Armenian Heritage Park, Massdot North Bank Bridge, and Massdot Maritime Park, among others.
Barletta Engineering has a subsidiary, the Barletta Heavy Division, a second entity focusing on infrastructure construction, including public transportation projects, tunnels, bridges, and more. This division has completed various projects, including Massdot Route 128 Add-A-Lane and Ridot 6-10 connector DB highways, the RIDOT Henderson, RIDOT Washington DB, and the MassDOT Derek S. Hines bridges. They have also worked on tunnels like North Dorchester Bay CSO and MWRA East Boston Microtunnel.
